The Italian Citizenship Podcast
The Italian Citizenship Podcast is a video podcast presented by Italian Citizenship Assistance. This video podcast is the collaborative brain child of Marco Permunian (an Italian attorney) and me. We both saw a need and desire in the community of the Italian diaspora who are looking to reconnect to their homeland for legal advice that they can access. We both felt that making a free to view library of content not hidden behind any paywall would be the best way to move forward to help as many people as possible. Having been through the Italian citizenship by descent process myself, I very well understand many of the questions and concerns that come up for an individual who is making their petition for recognition of Italian citizenship. The balance of having two hosts, one who is a very knowledgeable Italian attorney who deals with this area of Italian law daily and a person who has been through the process, in my personal opinion makes a very solid duo. In our recording sessions I ask Marco about various subjects (many of them from our audience) relating to the citizenship process covering not only Jure Sanguinis (Italian citizenship by descent) but also Jure Matrimonii (Italian citizenship through marriage) as well as Italian citizenship through residency as well as some fine details and lesser known areas of Italian citizenship.
The Italian Real Estate Podcast
The Italian Real Estate Podcast, presented by Italian Real Estate Lawyers is another collaborative effort between Marco Permunian and myself. It stemmed from an episode of the Italian Citizenship Podcast where we saw that there was clearly more to discuss which doesn’t directly relate to the subject of Italian citizenship. Due to this, we decided to move forward with a second project related specifically to Italian Real Estate. In these video podcasts we discuss various subjects to do with purchasing property in Italy and what can be involved such as the “Codice Fiscale” “Notaio” and even going through the process of purchasing property at an auction as well as purchasing 1 Euro Homes in Italy.
